How many driving lessons do I need before my test?

The DVSA recommends an average of 45 hours of professional tuition combined with 22 hours of private practice. Everyone learns at a different pace — your instructor will advise when you are ready to sit the practical test.

What do I need to bring to my first lesson?

Please bring your provisional driving licence, any glasses or contact lenses you need for driving, and comfortable flat-soled shoes suitable for driving. Your instructor will provide everything else required for the lesson.

Do you offer automatic driving lessons in Sheffield?

Yes. Park Driving School offers both manual and automatic driving lessons across all Sheffield postcodes. Please note that passing your test in an automatic vehicle means your licence will be restricted to automatic vehicles only.
