1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking or using any driving instruction service provided by Park Driving School, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not accept these terms, you must not use our services.

2. Eligibility

To take driving lessons with Park Driving School, you must:

• Hold a valid provisional or full UK driving licence
• Be able to read a standard UK number plate from a distance of 20 metres (with glasses or contact lenses if required)
• Be of minimum legal driving age as required by UK law

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

• A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson
• Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or where the pupil fails to attend without notice, will be charged in full at the full lesson rate
• Park Driving School reserves the right to cancel or reschedule lessons due to instructor illness or vehicle mechanical failure; no charge will be applied in these circumstances

4. Payment

• Payment is required upfront at the start of each lesson unless a block booking or alternative arrangement has been agreed in advance
• A deposit may be required to secure a block booking or test date slot; this deposit will be held against your lessons
• Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice
• Block booking discounts are non-transferable and apply only to the named pupil
• Intensive driving courses must be paid in full upfront upon booking. At the instructor’s discretion, a 50% deposit may be accepted at the time of booking with the remaining balance due in full on the start date of the course

5. Driving Test — Use of School Vehicle

• Park Driving School may withdraw the use of an instructor’s vehicle for your driving test if, in the instructor’s professional judgement, you have not reached the required standard of safe driving
• This applies regardless of whether the test date is approaching or has been confirmed by the DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency)
• No refund will be given for test fees paid directly to DVSA

6. Fitness to Drive

• Your driving instructor reserves the right to refuse to commence or continue a lesson if you appear unfit to drive — including but not limited to being under the influence of alcohol, drugs (including prescription medication that impairs driving), or being in a physical or mental state that presents a risk to road safety
• A full lesson charge will apply if the lesson is refused on these grounds

7. Pupil Conduct

• Park Driving School expects all pupils to treat instructors with respect at all times
• Abusive, threatening, or discriminatory behaviour toward any instructor will result in immediate termination of lessons with no refund

8. Limitation of Liability

• Park Driving School cannot be held responsible for costs incurred by the pupil as a result of instructor illness, vehicle mechanical failure, or driving tests postponed or cancelled by the DVSA
• Park Driving School cannot guarantee a pupil will pass their driving test within any specified number of lessons or timeframe

9. Data Protection

• Park Driving School collects and processes personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018
• Your data is used solely for the purpose of administering your lessons and communicating with you about your bookings
• We do not share your personal data with third parties without your consent, except where required by law

10. Complaints

• If you have a complaint, please contact us at info@parkdrivingschool.co.uk or call 07922 296108
• We aim to acknowledge all complaints within 5 working days and resolve them within 28 working days

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to These Terms

Park Driving School reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The current version will always be published at parkdrivingschool.co.uk/terms-and-conditions/. Continued use of our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
