Glad I went with Park Driving School, the instructor Aki knew his stuff and was a sound guy to learn with, passed first time, couldn’t ask for more!

I didn’t have the upmost faith in myself when it came to learning to drive but Aki was great and I enjoyed all of my lessons.

My driving lessons were always at a time that suited me and Aki was always quick to respond to any messages if I needed to change dates etc.

I passed my driving test despite my own self doubts and Aki’s encouragement definitely helped!

I would definitely recommend PDS to others.

I started having lessons with Ishie about 8 weeks ago and passed my automatic driving test with 2 minors today! Ishie is very reliant, patient and all around a fab instructor. From the first lesson she made me feel really comfortable driving and she makes all the different maneuvers easy. She doesn’t just teach you how to pass your driving test but also how to drive after you’ve passed you test. I 100% recommend her and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed!

ishie was absolutely amazing. Friendly, funny and made me feel totally at ease throughout the whole learning experience. I worked hard at learning but she worked so much harder, determined to make me succeed and be safe on the road. She gave instructions clearly and concisely and most of all was easy going when I made a mistake and assured me I would get better! She squeezed lessons in last minute when needed and even left home commitments so she could come with me on my test. I had one instructor before but they never compared to the professionalism and enthusiasm ishie showed throughout. Always there with a beaming smile (even at 7am) and rearing to go. My confidence levels were low but soon disappeared while on the road with such a great instructor to cheer me on in any situation. She also wasn’t like most other instructors who just take your money and do nothing with it, I spent a total of 9 hours learning to drive and passed my test today!

I am very pleased and happy with the service PDS provides, having a instructor like Ishie, I have been looking forward to every lesson, not only have I been driving I have also been getting to know Ishie herself while driving and she will be missed, she went through every little little steps in driving and boosted my driving and confidence skills. I have promised her we will stay in touch! Overall I’d give this company a 5 star rating and I hope they remain the same and keep up the good work. Good luck for the future!

My instructor Aki was always patient and understanding, especially with the more complex driving manoeuvres. With a confident and relaxed personality he helped me feel at ease in particularly stressful situations, while also proving me with a thorough understand of both the theory and practical aspects. An informative and enjoyable experience, I definitely would recommend!

I have really enjoyed learning to drive with Park Driving School. I was initially quite nervous but I gradually became a lot more confident. My instructor, Aki was really sound and gives a lot of encouragement and also knows exactly how to help you improve. Excellent instructor. Saj is a great instructor that will guide you through your driving with ease. He is really friendly and will only aim to help you to improve. His efforts has gone to show through me passing on my first time with very minimal hours of class. ,I had an excellent instructor (Saj) who was patient at times that i needed more help and provided constant moral support and pushed me to achieve my full potential till the very end.

He gives detailed and relevant information to you as you are driving and is really friendly to just have a chat to while you are driving.

I was with an independant teacher before coming to Park Driving, and it was the best decision! My driving inteuctor Saj perfected my driving and made me more knowledgeable when it comes to driving, deffinately recommend!

Amreen is a brilliant instructor, calm and patient, as well as a good knowledge on driving to test standered, wether it be monouvers or awareness on the roads. I passed first time with only 15 hours worth of lessons, which speaks for itself.

Saj was such a great instructor, I passed on my first attempt with only two minor faults. I had driven in the USA before, and he was recommended to me because he’s worked with Americans in the past. He did a great job at guiding me through all the differences in rules and the “why” behind the rules so it really sunk in and made me feel confident going into the test. I was so nervous, but Saj’s lessons really paid off and I was prepared for every situation. Highly recommend PDS!

Brilliant all round !!! Coming from a non EU country, I had to take lessons and pass the UK test all over again, despite being able to drive in my home country. I was very lucky to have the most amazing instructor, Saj, and passed my test really quickly. Saj is very patient, professional, honest, punctual and very knowledgeable. He made it fun going to driving school again after so many years.

I decided to take lessons with PDS after I was left disappointed by two previous driving schools ..both of which didn’t provide enough support and encouragement. I was blown away with the support from Ishi at PDS she gave me the confidence I needed and catered to my needs. She was personable and friendly throughout my lessons. I had 10 fantastic lessons with Ishi and she covered every aspect that I’d require and because of her dedication I passed my driving test first time. I would highly recommend this driving school for anyone who wants to achieve their license with confidence. I had four previous instructors before I found this driving school wish someone had told me earlier as I wasted my time and money. My instructor Ishie was professional, punctual, always spotting teachable moments and always alert to unfold&prevent problems arising. I was heavily pregnant, frightened however she taught me how to channel that fear and use initiative .Ishie was intuitive, she was able to sense when I needed help, was nervous, was confused, was stressed&even distracted&provided whatever that was necessary to improve the situation.What I enjoyed the most were how fun she made it always coming up with different methods that were fun& easy ways to teach me. Teach you every you need to pass the driving test.

My instructor Aki has helped me pass my test. He has build my confidence by taking me to different roads and junctions. I was struggling to pass previously and he told me that I drive better when I chat with him, I followed his advise and chatted with the examiner throughout the test and passed. Thank you very much.

Aki was my driving instructor at PDS. He was the most patient and competent driving instructor anyone could hope for. He dealt with nerves very well and helped me pass my driving test which I thought would be impossible! I learned with Amreen, who is a great driving instructor. I passed first time after 18 hours of lessons. Amreen was always a calm presence in the car, never seeming to get stressed or raising her voice. She was very accommodating, often being available for weekend and evening lessons which fit in very well with my work schedule. She also had a calm teaching style and always gave clear instructions. Each lesson she would make a point of explaiingn the things that i’d done correctly and where i had made mistakes

On top of being a great teacher, Amreen was also brilliant company. I didn’t think i would have such a laugh whilst learning to drive. By the time i passed my driving test it felt like we were mates. We’d make each other laugh, swap stories, and have a general catch up each lesson, which made the whole process of learning to drive much less stressful than it could have been.

All in all, I would definitely recommend Amreen as a driving instructor

I contacted Aki after he had came highly recommended by multiple people. He organised me a lesson and it was clear from the start what I had to learn as at the end of each lesson he will show you his checklist so you always know your progressing. It’s a great system because you know exactly where your money is going each lesson. Once the checklist was filled and my theory was done we went for the test. Which I passed. Looking back he made it so black and white what was expected so aslong as I listened there was no room for error.

I have had a great experience with Park Driving School. After weeks of searching where the right place for me to learn how to drive would be, I decided to choose Park Driving School. I’m pleased to say that this proved to be a very good choice; they are professional, honest and fair people, I’ve had no hassle at all during my time with them. My driving instructor in particular, Amreen Kausar, was amazing. She was professional in her delivery, she efficiently addressed any concerns I had and helped me feel confident at the wheel. Had a great experience driving with Salma Yousaf from PDS. Throughout the lessons she kept extremely calm and patient, yet assertive when required. It was clear that her lessons were planned out and she never failed to help me understand everything. She’d work 7 days a week and was flexible around my uni and work timetable. I passed my test, first time, easily, because I had several lessons with Salma Yousaf and I think she is one the best educators I have ever met. Parazh is an excellent instructor. His approach is calm, meticulous, and patient – every problem that comes up is dealt with quickly and I learnt the exact correct response in every possible situation. I passed first time with Parazh (like pretty much all his students) and with only 3 minors. When it came to taking my test I was very confident knowing that all my bad habits had been ironed out, I just had to drive like I was taught and it all went fine.

Amazing and responsive service regarding arranging lessons. My driving instructor has been thorough in his teaching techniques and patient with me. I have passed my driving test first time so I am really pleased with all areas of the service.

I started with Aki in May and I passed my driving test on my first attempt just under five months later. Aki has a great teaching style, he’s very clear in his communication, he’s also extremely reliable and punctual. This meant that I became comfortable in the car and on the roads much quicker than I was expecting, frankly I had prepared myself for the process to take the best part of a year so I’m over the moon.

I had Aki as my instructor and passed first time at the Middlewood road centre. Good at instructing and calming to work with. 2 hour lessons which are useful to learn quickly. Flexible if you need to change your lesson, and can put a few extra hours into lessons close to the test to make sure you’re topped up. Started lessons in late August, passed in February.

I had Zaf and he was a really good communicator and instructor. Really patient and a nice person. Had a bad experience with a previous driving instructor and PDS was 10x better. Couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Had Zaf as my instructor and by the time I got to doing my test I felt confident in my driving abilities.

He made sure I understood the theory and reasoning behind maneuveres and was patient with me while I was mastering basic skills like observations, position, junctions, roundabouts etc.

I never felt belittled or rushed and overall was a very enjoyable learning experience.

I think I should note that I was able to pass first time with around 35ish hours of lessons with PDS.

I was delighted with being instructed by Zaf during my time with PDS. After having no experience in a car prior to being instructed by Zaf I was shown everything I needed to know down to the minuet details. Eventually I got a test at Middlewood in which I only got 3 minors on. Due to a nervous dilemma on my manoeuvre I was ultimately failed. However 3 weeks later I got another test at Handsworth. After having no lessons during these 3 week, Zaf got me prepared for the entire Handsworth area in just one day in a block of 3 hours. I passed with flying colours and the test was cut a few minutes short due to my driving being perfectly on par with the curriculum. Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. Well what can i say, passed my test recently with 4 Minors. I came to PDS with a confidence level at zero from being used by an independent instructor with no progression at all. I could drive yes but was taught zero mirrors etc (The Correct Way). I was assigned to Jamal’s workload and we got to work. I was immediately impressed with the effort Jamal placed into teaching someone like me (I have a learning disability) He went out of his way to learn how to most efficiently teach someone like me and he took me from step one with zero confidence, to passing my test and being on the road myself. I was an absolute beginner in March and I get my license within 3-4 months. Hussein, my instructor is very helpful and patience. We covered a lot of essential techniques and details for the driving test, which not just helping me to pass the test but also making me a capable and responsible driver.

Started with no knowledge of how a car works and no experience in driving even a golf cart or go-kart, after having almost a year’s worth of lessons with Jamal, I am capable of driving self-prompt and safely. My experience with Park driving school and my instructor Hussein was just excellent. I had previously known driving but was unfamiliar with UK roads and rules. Hussein helped me to get test-ready in about 5 lessons. He was always available with lessons whenever I needed them. I passed my driving test today, in the first attempt with 4 minors. Awesome, needed an instructor at the last min for a test that was in 2 days, Aki leapt forward and got me passed. As far as driving instructors go Aki is an extremely nice friendly down to earth bloke who makes you feel comfortable at the wheel, i would have no problems recommending to future drivers.

Great driving school, I don’t see how the tuition could be any better. The instructor, Aki, was very friendly and very good at explaining what to do, and flexible over the times of lessons. He also provides 90 minute lessons which are the perfect length to get to the test centre, drive around and get back. The car is nice (a bit small for me, but I’m 6’6″, so 98% of people will have no problem).

Do not waste your money any other place. I just remember that it was nightmare to keep going to get license cause I had paid 800 pounds to one of the famous driving institute in Sheffield , but the issue was that they were just proud of their name and brand , yes, I wasted my money in that rubbish company. I was disappointed when I failed in practical test two times after spending around 800 pounds. I have been advised to start with AKI as a my second instructor by my husband who had passed the practical test with AKi 2 years ago . I ve just passed my practical test after 10 hardworking sessions, let say I have passed my test with AKi in the first time. He is very nice and friendly instructor. During my training sessions , He was always patient when I was doing something wrong. at the end , we (me and my husband ) got license with AKI in the first time! . .

I had drove for ages and failed my test with other people who made me go over the same thing, i was just wasting my money. Aki is great, once you have nailed one thing he doesn’t keep going over it every week wasting time. Had lessons for a couple of months and then passed my test first time with Aki. I can honestly say that I enjoyed every minute of learning to drive with Aki. I’m not the kind of person who looks forward to sitting next to a stranger for a long period of time and was nervous about being a danger on the road! However, Aki is very friendly and reassuring, while remaining professional. I had taken a few lessons with a different instructor. However, by the time he drove me to the other side of town during rush hour, I managed to have 20 minutes behind the wheel! My boyfriend started lessons with Aki and recommended him. I had a totally different experience: Aki was not at all patronising and made sure I made progress within a short space of time. He is inredibly flexible and collected me from home, work or wherever I needed him to. I was such a nervous driver at first, I never thought I could pass first time – with only 2 minors! Aki helped me get over my fear of roundabouts and turned me into an expert at clutch control! Whatever your weakpoint, Aki will iron it out by letting you practice each skill until you’re an expert. I recommend using the ‘commentry drive’ – a technique where you talk yourself through the driving process. This may sound silly but it worked for me. Aki has other little tricks like this which allows you to ‘revise’ for yor test. The test examiner commented on my economic use of gear changes and said it made a change to see such good practice. I had previously had many lessons and failed a driving test. After not driving for over a year, I wanted to pass my test before my provisional expired. Aki was reccomended to me, and gave me a very good value deal. He even has a first hour ‘money back’ policy, if you aren’t happy with your first hour, and you want a different instructor, you get the hour free. There’s a good reason for this. Aki is a superb driving instructor. He is patient, whilst continuously trying to improve your driving. He is a busy instructor, but is always as flexible as possible to accommodate your needs. Sheffield is a difficult city to drive in, yet aki teaches you all the skills necessary to negotiate all types of road situations. He doesn’t use driving ‘tricks’ just so you pass your test, he actually teaches you how to drive, and how to adapt to any situation. I passed my test with ease, and I felt calm and prepared. I would recommend aki to anyone.

I have had 3 driving instructors before aki and I can honestly say he is a very very good instructor. Aki understood that I was a nervous driver and was going to make mistakes, he continually reassured me and gave me confidence in my lessons. Aki has a great way in checking your progress after each lesson he marks how you did compared to your previous lesson showing what you have improved on what you need improving on, thus giving you plenty of time next week to prepare your self. Aki is straight to the point, he dosent park you up for 10 minutes talking about his day. He uses each minute to the maximum potential ensuring you get the most out of his lesson. I had a very tough time trying to fit work life with my lessons aki understood this completely and did everything possible to fit me in even out of his inconvenience, he did this extremely well when test date was coming up. In a nut shell aki is the man who makes you pass your test he won’t let you down.

Yeah I saw aki in town n I needing some lession so I went to asks how much was a lession it was 20 pound I said to aki went I do the first part of the test I get back to u had one lession n he told me to book my test I had 5 lession n I past first time his a good driver who no his surf I tell any one that want to drive to give this man a ring his very good he not one of them bullshit driver like I said first time.

I had few driving classes in sheffield but they never built my confidence in driving on busy roads then I met Akki. Akki-Thank you SO much for teaching me to drive in such a quick time and pass my test. I took an intensive course with Akki and I would highly recommend this to anyone. Akki has done an assessment of my driving and found a course to suit me, and here I am today I can drive on any busy road, so as you can see it worked. Akki has a way of teaching people that I don’t think you could really beat, he is professional and he knows how to make you drive if you are a nervous driver, you will learn great techniques from him where you can easily pass your test, also if you are in a bad mood he never fails to cheer you up. But really if you are looking for a good driving instructor I would highly recommend Akki for what ever stage your driving is at.

Aky is a brilliant driving instructor who is goal orientated – he wants you to pass, no faffing around. His lessons are very structured and he figures out your weaknesses and keeps working on them until they improve. I was nervous and apprehensive regarding the test at first but Aky reassured me that I was a good driver with experience – I have failed three times before. He made me more confident. Just passed my driving test first time straight away with 6 minors. I had Barry as my instructor, the best thing is he will work everything around your schedule. I was having lessons at 8am but also 8pm. Barry really does go out of his way for you to fit lessons in at a convinient time. He extremely proffessional and will put you at ease if you’re nervous, if you need something explaining more than once he’s happy to do it and keeps calm throughout. And he always has lots of sweets.

I had time restrictions so took the crash course route. I had previous driving experience but needed to get back up to test level and was lacking in confidence. He arrives on time without delay and no excuses. He is a fantastic instructor as I passed my test with few minor mistakes. I am naturally a very calm, confident and never finds anything intellectually challenging. However, it was not the same with driving. I had two driving instructors before but got no where with them. I thank God for Akmal who has been very patient and inspirational and tackled my weaknesses with such ease and professionalism. Akmal note only aimed for me to pass but to be a practical safe driver. He boosted my confidence and I passed with such ease with 4 minor faults. I do recommend Aki, he is very kind, values his students and instructs with passion.

Paul… what a life saver. I’d had a bad experience with another instructor and was no longer enjoying driving having been messed about, just about ready to give up! He took me on a few weeks before my test, and not only did I pass with only a few lessons with him, I enjoyed driving again! I’m now confident and had a lot of fun with the lessons, and learned things the previous instructor hadn’t mentioned in 30 odd lessons! Cannot rate this guy highly enough, lovely bloke and top class instructor, just wish I’d gone with him in the first place!

I had Barry as my instructor, he is extremely good at what he does! He immediately assessed how ready I was for my test and made sure I was aware of all the hazards that can occur when driving. He also teaches you all the manoveres quickly and safely. You won’t be scared for your test as Barry will cover all aspects of it in detail so nothing will suprise you! Passed the first time around and give credit to Aki my instructor fun and enjoyable lessons. I’d never driven a car before I started my lessons and lacked confidence, he taught me very well and helped me be aware of everything I needed to be aware of. I had Aki, or the guy with the Audi A3. After I had been ditched my my old instructor I decided to join Aki and it was worth it because I got plenty of time on the road. Aki is really patient and every time he spoke when I had made a mistake was done in a very professional manner which I immediately learned from, and I managed to pass in 20 lessons. However most important of part of driving with Aki was the Audi A3, I mean what more do you want?

I took 2 lessons from Barry as I was already driving in my homecountry. He was a good instructor, giving attention to details on driving safely and responsibly. He covered all aspects of the test to ensure I was well prepared. I passed the practical test on my first try with only 4 points! It was well worth the money and time spent.

I had a fantastic experience driving with Paul. Passed on my first time with four minors. Paul made sure I was prepared before the test, and was really reassuring.

With just 25 hours of tuition I managed to pass my driving test first time (with 6 minors). My instructor (Barry) always arrived on time and he taught me everything I needed to know at just the right pace. Would highly recommend this driving school to anyone.

As a person prone to “knee-jerk”” reactions I was worried that I would never get on the road! However after working with Aki for the past few months I have managed to get control over the nerves and have learned the importance of proper planning to avoid such things, I can safely say that I couldn’t have asked for a more personable and understanding instructor than Aki, calm and reassuring I would highly recommend him and Park Driving School as an organisation to anybody wanting to take on the roads! Barry is the best driving instructor I’ve ever had, he’s great at calming me down when I freak out after making a mistake. I’ve had quite a few different instructors and he was definitely the best one. I passed my test yesterday after almost giving up and I really owe it all to Barry. He really cares about his students and puts 110% into it, and he is firm in that he’s honest with you and doesn’t take any rubbish, but he’s also very kind and compassionate. Honestly a top rate service at a decent price!

He was not hesitant to voice my weaknesses clearly. This really helped me to focus on my weaknesses in order to improve and develop to become a safe driver. Ofcourse, my strengths were praised too. Aki used various techniques and methods to aid me in my driving practice and helped me to remain calm when my anxiety fears struck. As a University student, I found that Aki was very accommodating with fitting me into his busy working schedule. Overall, I am very pleased with the service I received and would highly recommend Aki as a driving instructor.

I have just passed my driving test with Aki after been with several instructors over a few years. Aki has been the best I’ve had. He had great knowledge and understanding of driving. Previously had Barry around a year ago, sacked driving off because failed theory, then tried a new instructor and automatically came back to Barry, great instructor, makes you feel very comfortable behind the wheel however he will tell straight away if you’re doing something wrong, which is the way I like it. Definitely worth having as an instructor, doesn’t time waste and gets you to feel confident behind the wheel straight away.

Upon searching for a suitable driving instructor, park driving school struck me as the best choice due to the great reviews and multiple success stories on the facebook site. Few months down the road, I can say that the services which Aki provides would definetely meet to the standards you would see in this review site. I have had several lessons with this driving school as it took me a few tries to pass due to being nervous about the test itself. My instructor was incredibly patient with me and worked on all the areas that I struggled with when nervous so that I could overcome them and eventually pass the test. He always made me feel at ease and has improved my confidence at driving hugely. The car used, a Vauxhall Corse was also comfortable and easy to drive. Thank you!

Aki is a brilliant instructor who not only covers the basics of driving he applies all the driving skills to when you’re driving after you’ve passed your test. He really gets you to think and understand your card. He prepares excellent lessons which ensure you work on all your problem areas. I’ve had previous lessons in other cities, but because I was at university in Sheffield I needed an instructor who would get me up to test standard so I would be able to pass while studying. With Aki’s assistance and teaching I have learnt new driving techniques to help me pass within a month and a half of driving in Sheffield.

On Thursday 1st December I passed my driving test and I couldn’t have done it without the help and guidance from my amazing driving instructor Barry. Barry always went the extra mile to help me prepare for my test, Barry even sent me bullet point tips for my manoeuvres! I will definitely miss my Saturday morning driving lessons and but I doubt Barry will miss my million and one questions. I would highly recommend Barry his lessons were always fantastic and he motivated me throughout even when I couldn’t see the light at the end of the tunnel. Mr Barry is a good instructor. He guides and leads well on how to drive properly and following the rules here in the UK. Most Malaysian had taken lessons under him. He also encourages and gives good advice. I would highly recommend him as an instructor if anyone wanted totale leasons.

Learning with Aki was a great experience, he made me into a confident driver and we always had a good laugh during the lessons. He was always very straight to the point in instructing you where you’re going wrong, which meant it was much quicker to know your mistakes and weaknesses and improve on them. I highly recommend.

I took the practical driving test and passed it from the first time thanx to god then thanx to Barry. He was a great instructor he taught me all the techniques and tips and tricks to pass the exam. And I was surprised that it was almost 90% as I practiced driving it with him. My examinar was new to the area though and yet I managed to pass the test, so I believe you can pass with any other examiner which will be more of what Barry will teach you. I took 2 classes only cause I have been driving for about 18 years somewhere else in the world, but the tips were very largly helpful to pass the test cause if I havent taken these classes and took the test with the driving am used too I believe I woulndt have passed it from the first time, the test pays attention to a lot of technicalities and Barry is just the right guy for that job.

I had lessons with Aki and Barry and would recommend Park Driving School for any learner new to Sheffield. I found them through their Free Index ratings and here I am writing one 4 days after passing my practical test. As an anxious driver at times who can overthink, this school was patient with my ups and downs and gave me the advice and guidance needed to be a safe and confident driver. They were also excellent at fitting me in around a work and study programme, and were also very flexible when I had been messed around by the test centre cancelling my test. Thank you very much!

I was recommended Barry as an instructor by my friend who had had two instructors previously and changed to Barry as her third because she was unsatisfied with their teaching style and ability. It turns out it was third time lucky for with him and I am so glad she made the recommendation to me, so that I didn’t have to go through the same process! I was very nervous to learn to drive but I found Barry a very helpful instructor. I think the lessons are incredibly good value for money but I especially liked the fact that Barry was always pushing me to do things when he knew I was able. Many other of my friends have had experiences of being ripped of by instructors who go at an extremely slow pace teaching/ delay in sending students for tests in order to make more money from the student. From the first lesson Barry was focused to getting a pass result, and the steps necessary to do so in a reasonable amount of time. This was really helpful for me as a final year student as like most students I don’t have endless amounts of money and also had to balance this with final year exam stress! So all in all I would definitely recommend Barry and I wish him luck with his future as an instructor!
